Solution for COCAINE addiction?

Most of the “coca” leaf usead to make cocaine is grown in the colombian rainforest. AFter processing it is transported to nearby countries using bribes(usually ecuador or venezuela because of their close location) and shipped or flown out to the rest of the world. A report showed the growers of the coca leaf, and they were no more than men and women who were desperate for a little bit of money and some food to eat. I thought, If these people were promised a safe house away from the FARC guerrilla and a decent job with a decent salary, would they not take the chance?would this not stop the cocaine supply at least for a short amount of time??The colombian authorities, lately backed by war-hungry president George Bush, have fought for years with the Farc guerrillas, made up of thousands of people who know their territories better than they know the inside of their house. To me it would be a very interesting option to take these growers out of the chain. I believe it would be like capturing one of the heads of a terrorist organisation.Even if it may be for some time, the organisation would not work properly.

food for thought

Three times as much money is being spent on penis enlargement and breast operations as is being spent on alzheimer disease. With statistics like these, I dont even want to look for comparisons between drug money and cancer/hiv aids research……

HOTEL RWANDA…

All of you that have seen both fahrenheit9/11 and hotel rwanda might wonder why F9/11 is rated R/18 and hotel rwanda is only PG/13….. WHen you walk out of the movie theatre from seeing hotel rwanda your face is white. You are shocked. If the movie is so shocking then why did we not pay any attention back in 1994 at the atrocities that were going on?(I exclude myself and those of my generation, as I am only 15)Why did clinton refuse to send troops into Rwanda?(was it because of the evident image problem caused in SOmalia?)WHy did german, french, british , spanish, armies refuse to send in troops? My cousin(22years old) reminded me that while that was happening the world was paying attention to the O.J Simpson trial. And if this movie really is causing this much commotion, why is help being refused to sudan??the exact same thing is happening there at the moment and nobody moves a finger to help them. Not even NGO’s do, after the asian tsunami…Is it because the world is afraid action against the arab government in he darfur area will provoke Al Qaeda and other groups?…The movie was supposed to teach us a lesson, and if nothing is done, 2015’s big hit will be “Hotel Sudan” if we arent careful…….

crisis in ecuador

After 5 days of crisis in the streets of ecuadors capital city, Quito, the political crisis in the country seemed to come to an end a few days ago. The unconstitutional presentation of Alfredo Palacio ,new president of the republic, finished with various days of protests. The armed forces, who firmly backed president Lucio Gutierrez(graduated at the military school in sport education) stood by him until his last hours. They threw over 1500 tear bombs in an area of merely a few blocks, rolled out kilometres of barbed wire and stood proudly in uniform and plastic shields in what looked like preparation for battle. In what looked like a revival of the economic crisis suffered in argentina not long ago, and in ecuador just a few years before, people rushed out of the houses and poured down the streets to recover what little money they could trust to the remaining banks(the ones that were left standing after the last crisis).Meanwhile, the president went on television to say protests were not as strong as one might think from hearing radio or tv news. “Im sure it is not over 10,000 people”he said publicly with a view of disconcern….Lead by Radio “la Luna fm” protesters stood for days on end outside the presidential palace, and when word got out that it was possible the president had fled to the brazilian embassy, not only was this also covered with a ring of thousands of people, but so was the airport, to make sure the president had absolutelyt no way of getting out. Even thou condoleezza might not like the fact, ecuador has a new president, and alfredo palacio is the sixth president in 9 years(with a supposed 4 year period for each)…….WHy can neither ecuador or other south american states maintain a government for over 2 years??
note::even though the armed forces might have been a bit violent, it is useful to add the fact that the protesters had nothing but signs, pots and pans, flags, and a clear vision in their minds.
